PrussiaXEnemy!Reader: I'll Take a Bullet for You
With boots clicking, I scurry down the stone steps of my brother's house and into the cool Fall air. The musky odor of fallen leaves greets me and I catch a hint of the sweet aroma of apple pie on the breeze.
As I approach the crosswalk, I glance up at the sun hidden behind layers of clouds. I can almost detect the faint scent of rain in the wind and I'm certain it's going to pour soon. Hearing footsteps approach, I turn my head and nod in greeting to the new arrivals.

"So, _____, where did you f

The phone rang, not once, but three times before you decided to answer it. You were so engrossed in your book that you hadn't noticed the familiar chime of your ringtone until it was almost too late. You couldn't seem to recall the number on your caller ID and to be quite frank, you weren't too fond of answering. But thinking that it might be important, you picked up your phone and flipped it open, pressing the answer button. There was a brief pause unti
